International Summer Research Program in Nanoscience (NIM)
This program provides students from abroad with the opportunity to collaborate in challenging research projects in the nanosciences, supervised by a research mentor. An attractive supporting program includes weekend trips and other informal group activities.
Academic Host
The LMU Munich cluster of excellence Nanosystems Initiative Munich (NIM) together with nine participating universities and institutes in Munich and Augsburg
Target Group
Graduate students, ideally one year before graduation; applicants should hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent.
Aim of the Course
The goal of the program is primarily scientific education. Students will sharpen their scientific skills while working with state-of-the-art scientific equipment and develop their presentation and scientific writing abilities, but also experience German culture.
